What You’ll Do
As the Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the financial health of our organization. The successful candidate will lead a team and be responsible for:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Collaborate with company leadership to set financial goals and strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, delivering insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Cost Accounting: Develop and maintain cost accounting processes to optimize financial performance and control costs, especially in a made-to-order manufacturing environment.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate preparation of financial reports and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiencies, cost reduction, and enhanced financial reporting.
- Data Modeling: Build financial models and provide expertise to drive informed decision-making.
- Inventory Optimization: Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory levels, balancing working capital objectives with production and customer needs.
What You’ll Need
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of finance experience, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and financial leadership in a manufacturing setting.
- Skills:
- Expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
What You’ll Gain
